Explore Conservation Options
for your Land
Your gift of an easement on your property will be protected by the
Trust, can provide you with a charitable tax deduction, and will provide enjoyment
for future generations. The federal tax incentive for donating conservation
easements has been extended through 2009. If you own land with significant
conservation values, donating a conservation to a land trust can be one of
the smartest ways to conserve the land you love, while maintaining your
private property rights and possibly realizing significant federal tax
benefits. Please contact us at 207-869-1012 for more
detailed information about the process of donating a conservation
easement. |

Gifts of Land, Securities or
Bequests
A gift of land,
securities,
or bequests and life-income gifts
can provide significant tax advantages to donors while supporting
the Trust's land conservation programs. Please contact us at 207-869-1012
for more information about these opportunities. |

Volunteer!
FCT needs volunteers to help with trail maintenance, and we
organize trail maintenance days throughout the year. If you'd like to
volunteer for trail work or are interested in helping with mailings, gift
wrapping at holiday time, or have skills you'd like to put to work for FCT,
please contact our volunteer coordinator at 869-1012.
